Keep Rusk Beautiful Projects

About 4 years ago, 2008 President Teresa Langley created the KRB (Keep Rusk Beautiful) entity to help beautify Rusk.  Together with City Hall, a magnesium was put into place where every extra $1, $2 or $5 dollars added to the communities water bill would go toward projects to help beautify Rusk.  Today, this Committee has taken on the Christmas Lights downtown and are working on projects to show the community where their donation is going.

 EVERY $1 COUNTS!!!!

There are three ways to donate:

- Through your monthly water bill - donating $1, $2, or $5 dollars
- or by stopping by the Rusk Chamber and making a donation
- or by using PayPal listed at the bottom of this page.

Just think you will be helping to make changes that will make an impact on our community.  Below I have listed some of the projects that the KRB have or will be working on:
- Hanging Christmas lights downtown and in 2011 expanding to the footbridge;
- Creating a one of a kind hand-carved nativity set by the talented John Birkelbach;
- Obtaining grants from the donations we can match funding to refurbish or demolish buildings in need;
- and enhance our community along highway 69 and other community locations
